XSquared Academy offers enriched math programs for grade 3-8 students.
Our Mathematics program is aligned with the New Math Curriculum and will include Mathematical Modelling, Financial Literacy and Coding Tasks. Besides in our lessons, students will be challenged with math problems selected from well-known mathematics contests.
Our students will prepare and will successfully participate in Waterloo Math Contests, Caribou Math Contests, Kangaroo Math Contest, Mathematica, CNML Contest, Math Con+ Contest and American Math Contest.
Students registered for the math programs at XSquared Academy will be automatically registered to write the listed math contests at no additional cost. They will have free access to the online math platforms, Adaptive Math League System and Knowledgehook.
Every other Friday, our students will present their math projects and solutions to math problems, in an online forum.
Our math programs are designed to
- strengthen students’ mathematical knowledge base and build a strong foundation in mathematics;
- help students develop a growth mindset, higher order thinking and problem-solving skills;
- prepare students to integrate 21st century technological tools.
Each session runs for 60 minutes.
